The provisionally shortlisted candidates (around 20 times unique) have been shortlisted for the NTPC 2nd Stage CBT. A total of 35,281 posts of NTPC will be recruited through this recruitment exam. It may be noted that a total 1.25 crore candidates had applied for this recruitment examination.
Candidates may please check their shortlist status for various 7th CPC level for 2nd stage CBT by login in through the score card link provided on the official website of RRBs by entering their registration number and date of birth.
The first stage computer based test CBT was conducted from December 28, 2020 to July 31, 2021 by railway recruitment board for the posts of NTPC against CEN 01/2019.
In the supersession of the CBT 1 results published during January 2022, the candidates shortlisted have been provisionally selected to appear in the second stage of CBT.
The candidates have been shortlisted as per the merit in the first stage CBT duly considering their option of post in the pay level. It may be noted that the roll numbers of the provisionally qualified candidates for second stage CBT are arranged horizontally in ascending order and not in order of merit.
It may also be noted that the roll number of a candidate will appear only at one pay level even if the candidate is shortlisted for more than one pay level.
This has been done to ensure that the same roll number is not repeated at more than one pay level and uniqueness of roll number is maintained.
The candidate already shortlisted for a particular level in the result published in January 2022 are deemed to have been shortlisted for the level for that level. Separate second stage CBT will be conducted for each of the 7th CPC level (level 2,3,4,5 and 6) notified in CEN number 01/2019.
All post falling within same level of 7th CPC will have common second stage CBT. The second stage CBT for the post under each level for the provisionally qualified candidates will be scheduled in due course.
All these candidates shall be advised through the official website of RRB / SMS / email to download their exam City intimation about 10 days prior to the second stage CBT. The e-call letter will be available for download 4 days prayer to the CBT date.
The candidature of all the qualified candidates for 2nd stage CBT is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment or thereafter in case of any inconsistency/ deficiency in the data furnished or any malpractice on part of the candidates coming to the notice of RRB. It may be noted that merely calling a candidate for 2nd stage CBT does not entitle him/her in any way to an appointment in the railways.
While every care has been taken preparing the list of candidates qualified for the second stage CBT, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent error or typographical/ printing mistakes. RRB regrets in ability to entertain any correspondence from unsuccessful candidates. Candidates are advised to regularly visit RRB official website for the updates.
