S23, Plus and Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy: the latest on the top ranges

Galaxy S23 will be announced on February 1 at the Unpacked event together with the Plus and Ultra variants, in the last few hours the information and advances are increasing exponentially and by now we can say that we know every detail of the new top range branded Samsung. However, it is interesting to learn about other small details that Roland Quandt is sharing on Twitter in these minutes. In short, the picture is almost complete.

Let’s start from the first image of the logo which certifies the adoption of Qualcomm’s latest processor version adapted to the Galaxy S23: the mobile platform will in fact be called just like this: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. Name that had already emerged in the recent past demonstrating the fact that smartphones can count on a boost of “customized” power: we are talking about a CPU clock that rises from the original 3.2GHz to 3.36GHz.

The manufacturer should always be TSMC, and we’re really keen to put the device through its paces to see how it fares in day-to-day use. The first benchmarks were not exciting, but a result of this kind could have been influenced by various factors not known to us. For this reason it is better to wait for tests directly in the field.
