Samsung has in fact just launched a new feature call Recent Websites which is aimed above all at those who use a Galaxy smartphone coupled to a PC of the series Galaxy Books.

The new feature allows you to synchronize the websites you visit via browser between Galaxy phones and Galaxy Book PCs. In practice it will make it possible to continue browsing from Galaxy Book once started from smartphone. In other words, it will be possible to navigate from a browser as if using only one device despite using two different devices.

The novelty comes in the context of a recent update of the Microsoft Connect to Phone app, the one available for Windows PCs and Android phones that allows the real-time sync between the two types of devices.

You can get an idea of ​​how Recent Websites works in practice by looking the animation that you find in the gallery at the end of the article: once started the Phone Connection app on the Galaxy Book and the Galaxy phone is connected, it will be possible to access recently visited websites directly from those proposed in the app preview on PC.

The novelty we have just described will be available on Samsung Galaxy smartphones with One UI 3.1.1 or later (Samsung Galaxy S, Note, Z Fold, Z Flip) and Windows PC with Windows 10 20H1 or later. Also, the Link to Phone app will need to be updated at least at version 2.3.
