Setback for Lawnchair: Leave lead developer in controversy over alleged wrongdoing

Bad setback for Lawnchairone of the launcher Third-party Android which in recent years has gained popularity mainly thanks to constant support. The lead developer, Patryk Michalikindeed, he left due to alleged wrongdoing.

It is he who explains the story through a long press release: “Over the past year and a half, I, Patryk Michalik, have regularly contributed to the development of Lawnchair. Today I realized that one of the other main contributors has added portions of code to Lawnchair from a proprietary app that they don’t own the source code for. I have never been informed of the above actions and strongly disapprove of them. I have never encouraged or undertaken such an activity. With the above in mind and with regret, I will stop contributing to Lawnchair.

Michalik then thanks the entire team for their commitment: “I have deleted all Lawnchair related ads signed with my name, but I have sent copies of these ads to the team in case they want to repost them. I want to thank this wonderful community for their support. I wish the team the best. “

Lawnchair, remember, is one of the most used launchers in the Android world since it offers a rather advanced custom although it still remains faithful to the Android experience. Furthermore, as we mentioned at the beginning, the software receives numerous updates.
