The company’s mission is to rethink and free the way we experience personal technologyan objective that it promises to achieve by focusing everything on remote access and, therefore, on cloud.

The first offer proposed to consumers responds to the name of Shadow PC: at the cost of a monthly subscription, users they get access to a PC located in a data center; PC that can be used to play taking advantage of the high hardware performance. You can connect from your computer, smartphone, tablet or smart TV.

What is the difference between Shadow PC and the most popular cloud gaming services, such as Google Stadia, Amazon Luna and GeForce NOW? Simply, in addition to being able to install Steam to access their library, users subscribed to Shadow PC will be able to run any other Windows compatible application – from Excel to Word, passing through more demanding programs such as Photoshop and Premiere.

As we said, Shadow PC is available from today in other European countries, including Italy. The first Italian customers who subscribe to the service will be able to take advantage of one Early Birds discountavailable in limited quantities: the cost is the same at 5 euros per month. We specify that, normally, the monthly subscription to Shadow PC would cost 29.99 euros.

Power Upgrade: EPYC CPU and GeForce RTX GPU in the cloud

Shadow PC was originally launched in 2016, but only recently has the company been able to renew its service with an updated plan. By adding 14.99 euros at the expense of the monthly subscription, users will be able to access the Power Upgrade.

This plan offers access to a ‘high-end’ PC based on high-end components. The beating heart of this machine is a CPU AMD EPYC 7543P (4 cores, 8 threads), flanked by 16 GB of RAM and a latest generation video card, which can be one NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or an equivalent card dedicated to professionals.

The Power Upgrade will be distributed ‘in batches’ starting October 26th. There is no queuing system: depending on availability, the plan will appear on the official Shadow website and can therefore be activated by users subscribed to Shadow PC.
