Without going into the details of a review let’s immediately say that the debut of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law it is quite promising even if it is too early to issue a definitive judgment, but this first episode was able to offer moments of great irony as well as some unmissable gems, as you may have already imagined from the title of the news. The arguments of those who claim that Steve Rogers remained a virgin until the moment when everyone considers him dead (but he was not dead) revolve around some evidence that we will try to summarize. Before Steve got the Super Soldier serum he didn’t seem too interested in dating, and even when his best friend Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) dragged him along for a double date during the first movie, Rogers vanished to try to enlist in the army. Hence the hypothesis that Steve Rogers was a virgin before receiving the serum.
He later becomes Captain America, a symbol for everyone during the war until following the events narrated in the first film he remains frozen in ice for decades. Once awakened he spends most of his time working with the Avengers and then for the SHIELD, until he disappears after the events of Captain America: Civil War. Due to his busy life, many speculated that Steve Rogers would not have time to lose his virginity.
Let’s go back to She-Hulk and to the moment in which the mystery is revealed, that is, during the post-credit movie that is proposed at the end of the first episode. In reality at the beginning of the episode there is a scene in which Jen exposes her theory on the alleged virginity of Steve Rogers while she is traveling in a car together with Bruce Banner, but a few moments later the accident takes place that will change her fate and discussion is put aside. It will be picked up at the end, during an argument where Jen pretends to be drunk and complains to the Hulk that Captain America died without even the joy of sexual intercourse.
Exhausted by the pressure on the subject, the Hulk relents and reveals that Steve Rogers was not a virgin and he would have his first relationship in 1943. The name of his conquest is not revealed but the Hulk explains that the fact would have happened during a USO tour. What can I say more … now we know that Captain America did not lose his virginity with Peggy Carter and we will be able to sleep more peacefully.
