Soon the government will train teachers through WhatsApp-Facebook

Now to improve the education system, the government will resort to social media and messaging platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook. For this, on Wednesday, the government released a plan, saying that the government would run a special training program under which social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook would also be used to train principals and teachers. Under this scheme, 42 lakh teachers are planned to be trained in the first phase.

How to get training
After training the teachers in the class room, a WhatsApp group and Facebook page will be created through which the teachers will be connected with each other. Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that in this group or through the page, teachers will be able to share the challenges faced by them, which will help in finding their solution. Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank launched the National Initiative on School Teacher Head Holistic Advancement (NISHTHA) in Delhi on Wednesday. On this occasion, he said that changes are also being made in the curriculum of teaching to become a teacher. Now no one will be able to become a teacher like this. Nishank said, ‘Pocso Act and guidelines related to teaching Divyangjans will also be given in the training. The Union Minister also said that now it will be easy to become an IAS but not a teacher. The teacher is not the one student but the builder of the whole country.

Along with the method of teaching, training of leadership also.
Mainly focus on Language, Maths, Social Sciences.
The ministry will monitor the training of teachers online.
During the training, their daily attendance will also be checked.
By counseling the teachers, the problems faced by them will be removed so that they can better understand the problems of the students.
