Spider-Man has been with us for many years now. Sixtyto be precise, since when Amazing Fantasy 15 introduced us for the first time the shy teenager Peter Parker, destined to occupy the hearts and libraries of fans around the world. To celebrate the anniversary, Panini Comics – publisher of Marvel Comics stories in Italy – brings a series of special releases to newsstands, comic shops and online stores. For the youngest (and for incurable collectors) there is instead Spider-Man 60th Anniversarythe classic Panini sticker album dedicated to Spider-Man.

But the real gift all fans should consider is The story of my life, by Chip Zdarsky and Mark Bagley. An alternative history of the last 60 years that tells us what would have happened if Peter Parker was aged in real time, hand in hand with the readers who have followed him since the beginning. Zdarsky succeeds in the impossible and signs the definitive tribute to Spider-Man and to all long-time fans, creating not only a story full of references to continuity, but also and above all a work from which more transpire love and respect for the character of those not found even in many regular sagas.
