Tamil Nadu 12th Exam 2023: The Directorate of Government Examinations of Tamil Nadu will begin the Tamil Nadu Class 12 Board Exam 2023 from tomorrow, March 13, 2023. Students preparing for the exam can check important exam day instructions here.
As per the schedule, the Class 12 board exams will be conducted from March 13 to April 3, 2023. While the Class 10 exams will be held from March 14 to April 5, 2023. More than 8.8 lakh students will appear for the Tamil Nadu 12th Board exams which will be conducted across 3,169 centres.
✫ The exam will commence at 10:00 AM and end at 1:15 PM.
✫ The first 10 minutes will be given to read the question paper i.e., 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM.
✫ The verification of particulars by the candidate will be carried out from 10:10 AM to 10:15 AM.
✫ The exam will be conducted from 10:15 AM to 1:15 PM.
Last year, the Higher Secondary School Certificate Plus 2 (Class 12) and Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10th results were declared on June 20, 2022. Around 93.76 per cent of the students passed in 12th class, while 90.07 per cleared the SSLC exam. More than 25 lakh students appeared for these examinations across the state.

✦ Reach the examination venue in advance to avoid last minute rush.
✦ Carry your admit card and school ID to the examination centre.
✦ Students must report to the examination venue in their respective school uniforms.
✦ Follow the COVID protocols inside and outside the examination hall.
✦ Electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
✦ Carry your own pen and other stationery items as specified by the Board.
