According to what is reported by Associated Press and then also by sui users social Chinese, the Philippine Navy reportedly found and towed a fairing belonging to a Chinese space rocket (recognizable by the writings present). The boat would have been joined by another vessel of the Chinese coast guard interested in recovering the debris.
That’s when the problems started. The Chinese version reports that there was an exchange “friendly” between the parties to get back the carrier component. The Philippine version instead indicates that the boat was stopped twice with a certain “force”, version denied by China. The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mao Ning, he added “The Philippine side recovered and towed the object first.
