If you follow the smartphone market closely you might have noticed some differences between the version that will be launched on our market and the one already present in the original market.
Honor Magic Vs will be launched in only the cut of memory 12/512GBwith the addition of support for eSIM and, it would seem, without support instead for the Magic Pen, i.e. the nib compatible with this leaflet. However, we believe that it is not a technological limitation, but simply a commercial choice.
Then kept the promise to launch the smartphone with the latest release of Android (13) and updated to the Magic UI 7.1 interface that we can’t wait to test, especially in this incarnation for folding smartphones.
All the other features of this smartphone remain unchanged, including the new hinge made with only 4 components compared to the 92 of the previous model. This new hinge has been certified by TUV Rheinland for at least 400,000 folds, or an average of 100 openings per day for 10 years. When closed, the smartphone is completely flat, with no “gaps” between the two parts and with a thickness of only 12.9 mm. The weight is also quite surprising, being of 267 grams.
This was possible thanks to the use of a rare earth magnesium alloy, which is 34% lighter than the aluminum alloy used by its competitors.
