During the event Search On of this year, Google has announced a graphic novelty for the app: it is a new search bar much larger than the one we have always been used to (at the bottom of the article some photos that make everything clearer). Below the search bar, there is also a options carousel: within it we find, for example, a button to search the web for the latest captured screenshota quick shortcut to open the page dedicated to shopping on Google and, in general, buttons for quick access to some Google features.
Obviously, all the features we have already talked about are already accessible through the Google app: the real news concern the graphics of the search bar, the shortcuts placed under it and a small bell-shaped icon positioned next to the profile photo that allows you to quickly see notifications.
At the moment, it’s not clear whether Google is already rolling out these features for all users or just a small number of devices. In any case, it may still be a long time before you see these new features on your devices.
