Nissan presented the new one in Japan X-Trail. The Japanese SUV will be available in the price list only in hybrid versions, driven by the second generation of the e-Power hybrid.
Aesthetically, the new Nissan X-Trail incorporates some stylistic stylistic features of the last Qashqai but reinterprets them in a personal way, underlining a certain kinship with the X-Trail currently on the market and, above all, ina greater off-road vocation, underlined by bumper sleds and a series of plastic protections.
The car will be available in versions with 2 or 4 wheel drivewith 4x4s equipped with the e-4ORCE system, a technology that uses a second electric motor positioned at the rear (as happens on the Ariya) to ensure traction through both axes.
The new Nissan X-Trail, which will arrive also in Europewas born on the platform CMF-C which it shares with the Mitsubishi Outlander and will be powered by a 1.5 turbo-petrol with three cylinders which acts as a current generator and which recharges a battery which then transmits motion to the wheels through an electric engine.
Nissan has not yet given more precise details on the new hybrid powertrain, but has limited itself to specifying that compared to the previous one it is smoother, more efficient and also more powerful ”.
Going beyond the mechanics, the new X-Trail comes with an updated cockpit inside which the two 12 ”monitors 3, one behind the steering wheel for the digital instrumentation, the other, in the center of the dashboard and equipped with touch technology, for the infotainment system. To these the Japanese SUV also has a head-up display 10 “8.
The car will be available in versions with 5 or 7 seats and can be equipped with a 1,500 Watt Bose Premium Sound System. In terms of equipment, the new generation of the Nissan SUV also adopts the latest evolution of the Nissan ProPilot system, assistance technology that guarantees “semi-autonomous” driving.
