This England: things to know about the British miniseries

This England it was due to leave on September 23, but the death of what appeared to be the immortal monarch, Her Majesty La Queen Elizabeth II, caused the miniseries to be postponed. We will see it on Sky and Now from 30 September. Produced by Michael Winterbottom’s Revolution Films and Richard Brown’s Passenger, the six-part series reconstructs the thorniest and most complicated period in the British prime minister’s career. Boris Johnson (and of the United Kingdom, and of the world, in recent times), or that of the Covid-19 pandemic which has revolutionized our lives for at least two years. The show boasts a prestigious cast – in the role of Boris there is an unrecognizable one Kenneth Branagh – and is part of a large series of British-produced politically motivated television productions, such as State of Play, The Politician’s Husband or State Within.
