TS TET 2022 to be held on June 12, notification on March 25

TS TET 2022: Department of School Education, Government of Telangana has invited applications from candidates to appear for the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 (TS-TET 2022).

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website – http://tstet.cgg.gov.in/. Candidates can apply submit their application online starting from March 26, 2022. The last date to apply online is April 12, 2022.

The TS TET 2022 notification will be released online on the official website on March 25, 2022.

TSTET 2022: Important Dates

Eligibility Criteria for candidates for appearing TS TET 2022
Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However in case of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% and pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR

Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks. In respect of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40% and pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of candidate, who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed/ D.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines. OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks, however in case of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% and pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/ Bachelor of Education (Special Education).

A person who has acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognised institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily under a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognised by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher.
The validity period of TET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana, would remain valid for life. This provision will have retrospective effect from the date of enforcement of TET guidelines i.e.,. February 11, 2011.

The TSTET consists of two papers – Paper-I for those who wish to become a Primary teacher, Paper-II is for those who want to become Secondary (Class VI to VIII) class teachers. The exam duration for both the exams would be 150 minutes.

How to apply for TS TET 2022?

Step 1: Visit the TS TET official website – http://tstet.cgg.gov.in/

Step 2: Click on the link – “Apply Online”, a new page will appear on your screen

Step 3: Enter your details like Name, DoB, Email ID, Mobile Number, Qualification, percentage of marks and upload scanned images of relevant certificates and photograph

Step 4: Pay application fee and submit your application form

Step 5: Download the filled up application form and take printout for future use.
