NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the UGC NET December 2022 dates. The National Eligibility Test will be conducted from February 21 to March 10, 2023 for ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ and eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ in 83 subjects. The application process for UGC NET 2022 December session will commence from today i.e., December 29, 2022.
Informing about the UGC-NET December 2022 exam dates, University Grants Commission Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Announcement on UGC-NET December 2022: NTA has been entrusted by UGC for conducting UGC-NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘JRF and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.”
“The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC-NET December 2022 for ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ and eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ in 83 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode,” he added.

UGC NET December 2022 Schedule
The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The online application process begins from December 29, 2022 and the last for submission of the application form is January 17, 2023 (up to 05:00 PM), said Jagadesh Kumar.
How to apply for UGC NET December 2022?

  • Visit the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the link available for UGC-NET December 2022.
  • Register on the portal first if your are not registered.
  • Log in using your details and fill up the application form.
  • Upload the scanned documents as asked and pay the online application fee.
  • Submit the form and take a printout of the same for future use.
