Ukraine begins counteroffensive to retake the southern Kherson region

An International Atomic Energy Agency team led by chief Rafael Grossi is en route to Ukraine to attempt to inspect the contested Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. Negotiations are still ongoing, and still difficult, with both Ukraine and Russia demanding particular routes are used to access the plant and arguing over how long the inspectors will be based there.
