Released the trailer of the new and original comedy UnPrisoned which will make its debut on Disney+ next March 10th. A new production conceived by Tracy McMillan stars Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo as executive producers. The series will consist of eight episodes. What will this new TV series be about?
UnPrisoned: a Disney+ TV series to be discovered
Inspired by McMillan’s life,UnPrisoned a comedy about a messy but perfectionist therapist and single mother whose life is turned upside down when her father is released from prison and moves in with her and her teenage son, Finn.
The series starring Kerry Washington (Many small fires), Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods – Like brothers), Marque Richardson (Dear White People), Faly Rakotohavana (The Secret Society ofMinor Principles) and Jordyn McIntosh (The First Lady).
Produced by ABC Signature, the series is executive produced by Tracy McMillan, Yvette Lee Bowser, who also serves as showrunner, Kerry Washington and Pilar Savone with their Simpson Street production company, and Delroy Lindo. Also executive producers are Joy Gorman Wettels and Kevin Bray.
