Disney+ has released the trailer for the original comedy series UnPrisoned, the series that will be part of the novelties arriving in the catalog during the current month. This new production created by Tracy McMillan stars Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo as executive producers. The series will consist of eight episodes will debut March 10 on Disney+ in Italy. Inspired by McMillan’s life, UnPrisoned is a comedy about a messy but perfectionist therapist and single mother whose life is turned upside down when her father is released from prison and moves in with her and her teenage son, Finn.
The series stars Kerry Washington (Many small fires), Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods – Like brothers), Marque Richardson (Dear White People), Faly Rakotohavana (The Secret Society of Minor Principles) and Jordyn McIntosh (The First Lady).
Produced by ABC Signature, the series is executive produced by Tracy McMillan, Yvette Lee Bowser, who also serves as showrunner, Kerry Washington and Pilar Savone with their Simpson Street production company, and Delroy Lindo. Also executive producers are Joy Gorman Wettels and Kevin Bray.
