NEW DELHI: Batting maestro Virat Kohli on Sunday ended the agonising 1205-day wait for his 28th Test century as he slammed a sensational ton on Day 4 of the fourth Test against Australia in Ahmedabad.
As Kohli got to his 75th international ton, the fans at the Narendra Modi Stadium along with the Indian dressing room erupted in joy and hailed the superstar.
Acknowledging the applause, the 34-year-old had a reserved raise of the bat with a wide smile on his face.
Kohli then, in a delightful gesture, kissed his wedding ring, remembering and thanking his wife Anushkha Sharma.

“A 600-kilo gorilla is off his back. He will grow a couple of inches taller by this evening,” said Ravi Shastri on air while applauding Kohli’s majestic ton.
