A new update has just been available for WhatsApp, the popular messaging app from Meta: the new update, already available on the Play Store for all usersbrings a new graphical interface to the camera, which is now much easier to use. The WhatsApp version that introduces this feature is 2.23.2.73, but version 2.23.2.76 is already available on the Play Store, which obviously includes the new interface. As you can see from the screenshot below, the new interface now allows you to choose between photo or video mode: choosing the item Video, you can record a movie by simply clicking the circular button oncewithout necessarily holding it down.
In any case, it is always possible to record a video while remaining in the mode Photo: in this case, it will be necessary to press the circular button for the entire duration of the movie
, as was the case before. For the rest, the interface remains unchanged: we still find the buttons to exit and to activate the flash at the top and the buttons to open the gallery and to use the front or rear camera at the bottom.
