Whatsapp (how to set password) is working hard to improve the mode multi-devicealso called companion modewhich allows you to connect to the same whatsapp account up to four different devices.
After releasing last month, in beta, the ability to connect to your own whatsapp account from a second Android device, now the popular messaging app is expanding the function even further, with the possibility of getting a six-digit code which adds an extra layer of security.

If indeed in November we had seen that for log in to whatsapp from another device you had to generate, with the android phone on which we had the active account, a QR code to be framed to the second (neither more nor less than as with WhatsApp Web or Desktop), now there is a additional level of security.
Whatsapp was already working since August at the login confirmationa function that allowed the user to approve or deny access to their account, useful in case of access unauthorizedbut now with the new feature you can get the six-digit code in the app.
As you can see in the screenshot above, the new security option appears on the page verify and asks if you want to get the code on your main phone.
The code can be obtained for SMS or call, and you need to enter it on the new device. WhatsApp recommends not showing the code to anyone as it is like a passcode and, in case you haven’t requested it, of ignore the message.
The new feature appeared in the latest WhatsApp beta for android, the number 2.23.1.11but at the moment only very few testers they received it. It will probably be released to a larger number of users in the coming weeks, so in case you don’t see it yet, don’t despair e keep following us because we will update you of further developments.
