Whatsapp announces some interesting news regarding the state. After the first traces of last summer, vocal status finally arrives on the social platform, just as reactions are introduced in status updates and many other new tools aimed at improving the user experience and ways of connecting with one’s contacts.
State: updates shared with contacts visible for 24 hours and protected by end-to-end encryption.
- SELECTION OF THE PRIVATE PUBLIC
- It is possible to change the privacy settings of the status every time it is updated so as to decide from time to time which contacts to show the status to. The last setting remains active by default.
- VOICE STATUS
- The voice state has a maximum duration of 30 seconds.
- STATE REACTIONS
- It’s a quick way to reply to status updates using one of the 8 available emojis. WhatsApp calls it the most requested feature after reactions in chats (introduced last year).
- CIRCLE AROUND THE STATE PROFILE FOR NEW UPDATES
- The circle appears around the profile picture that updated its status.
- PREVIEW LINK IN THE STATE
- Now a preview appears in the link.
