As has been known for some time, Xiaomi has launched in India a new series of Redmi Note 11 called “Redmi Note 11 SE”. The technical specifications do not seem to differ much from other smartphones of the Chinese brand, while the sales package contains a “surprise” intended to make people discuss: the absence of the charger. In this sense, it is the first Redmi device to debut with a “lighter” sales package. Moreover, this decision, until now, has almost always concerned the more premium models.
The reasons that push companies to give up the inclusion of the charger in the package are many, starting with the attempt to reduce electronic waste and thus help the environment. It is not to be underestimated, then, the economic aspect, since such a decision involves some savings for the company. In short, after Apple and Samsung – the first companies to go down this path – Xiaomi is also revising its policy a bit. Ultimately, therefore, in the Redmi Note 11 SE package, buyers will find the device, a USB-C cable, a pin to remove the SIM, the protective case, the quick guide and the warranty card.
Finally, it is not known if the same decision will also be made for the next Redmi Note 12 series, which will probably be launched in October. Some rumors, in fact, have relaunched the hypothesis that the new Redmi models will debut in less than three months. On the technical specifications, however, not much is known, except for a possible high refresh rate of the display and the presence of three rear photographic sensors (including the main 50 MP camera). The company’s will, in fact, would be to create a balanced smartphone.
