In addition to the classic intermediate updates that we see every month for Android Auto, we know that Google is preparing Coolwalk, the code name for the brand new graphical interface of the infotainment system. This has been leaking for several weeks now, albeit still we don’t know the release plans official Google.

In the last few hours, however, they have emerged online new details about what Coolwalk will bring to Android Auto. The images we find in the gallery, at the end of this article, summarize it all. The images in fact show the new widgets which will be available for music streaming apphow Spotify.

Spotify, in the first implementations of the novelty we are describing on Android Auto, is shown while it occupies one smaller part of the screen available. The app appears in fact in the corner lower leftor in the left portion graphical interface.

In addition to proposing the usual multimedia commands and the cover image of the song you are listening to, as already happens through the implementation in the lower bar that we currently find in Android Auto, the new implementation also shows the music playlists.

This will greatly facilitate interaction with music streaming apps on Android Auto even when it is running another full screen applike the Maps navigator for example.

We expect the news to arrive not just for Spotify but also for the other music streaming apps available on Android Auto, such as YouTube Music. We still do not know the timing of the release to the public of the new Collwalk interface on Android Auto.
