A few hours ago we learned that the new Redmi K50 Ultra will arrive in the West under the guise of Xiaomi 12T Pro, with specifications that will be almost unchanged, but not completely. One detail will make the difference.
The detail we are talking about corresponds to the shooting resolution maximum that the main sensor of the rear camera will be capable of. Xiaomi 12T Pro will have a main camera able to shoot well 200 megapixels.
The image that you see right below portrays in detail the rear camera module of Xiaomi 12T Pro, on which we can read clearly the reference to the shooting resolution equal to 200 megapixels.
The photo sensor in question will consist of individual pixels of 0.64 µm for a size of 1 / 1.22 inch. The shooting resolution will correspond to 16,384 x 12,288 pixels, but it will also be possible to take photos from 50 megapixels with 1.28 µm pixels using the del Pixel Binning.
We remind you that at the moment has not been defined an official launch date for the Xiaomi 12T series. This should fall around September. We will come back to update you as soon as we have more accurate details.
