Everyone was waiting for the new Xiaomi 13 and MIUI 14 on December 1st, then the Chinese giant (a selection of its best smartphones) changed its mind at thelast momentannouncing that it would update the presentation date.
None explanation was given for this postponement at the last minute, but just this morning a post arrived from China via the Weibo platformin which it is announced that the new Xiaomi tops and the latest MIUI proprietary interface will be presented Sunday 11th December.

The announcement, in itself rather concise, it reads:
The Xiaomi #Xiaomi 13 mobile phone is expected to be presented on December 11th #19:00 on Sunday, see you soon. Thank you very much for all your expectation and waiting. Retweet this Weibo and win 100 #Xiaomi 13# units
Then appointment for Sunday 11th December at 7:00 pm local time (12:00 Italian time), and whoever shares the post (curiously it says “retweet”, but perhaps “re-weeb” would have been more appropriate) will have the chance to win one of the 100 smartphones put up for grabs.
The picture shows the two devices, Xiaomi 13 And Xiaomi 13 Prowhich we have already had the opportunity to appreciate in the previous ones leak.
Xiaomi 13 will feature rather compact sizeflat screen and borders, a blue variant and should have the following characteristics:
- Screen: 6.2-inch FHD+ non-LTPO OLED, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1900 nits
- SoCs: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
- RAM/Storage:
- 8GB + 128GB
- 8GB + 256GB

- main 50 megapixel Sony IMX8xx with OIS
- 13MP ultrawide
- 10MP telephoto lens

Xiaomi 13 Pro instead it will have curved edges, no periscope lens but the same 1″ sensor as the Xiaomi 12S Ultra:
- Screen: curved Samsung 2K E6 AMOLED 6.73 inches and smaller bezels than those seen on the Xiaomi 12 Pro
- SoCs: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
- RAM/Storage:
- 8GB + 128GB
- 8GB + 256GB

- main 1-inch Sony IMX989, with OIS
- 50MP ultrawide Samsung JN1

As for the MIUI 14we have already been able to admire some screenshots months ago, while last week the changelog, which revealed some interesting news like the fraud detectionthe improvements of notifications and the text recognition in the native Gallery app.
Appointment at Sunday, therefore, unless Xiaomi changes his mind again.
