Xiaomi 13 Series official in Italy, also on Amazon: price and specifications

Today Xiaomi presented in Barcelona Xiaomi 13 Series, the latest series of flagship smartphones already available on the international market. One of the most important innovations is certainly the collaboration between the Chinese brand and Leica. It is a partnership that will allow a Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro to offer its users an unprecedented photographic experience. Other important specifications concern the presence of the chip Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the Surge battery management System from Xiaomi, which will guarantee high performance on all fronts. A photographic sector of excellence

The Leica Vario-Summicron camera system 1:19-2.2/14-75 ASPH. of Xiaomi 13 Pro covers focal lengths from 14mm to 75mm and consists of a 23mm wide-angle main camera with a sensor IMX989 ultra-large 1 inch, a 75mm floating telephoto lens it’s a 14mm ultra-wide angle camera. Also, thanks to DSLR-level internal focus technology, the smartphone’s new 75mm telephoto lens uses a floating lens design to achieve a focal range from 10cm to infinity, perfect for framing stunning portraits and gorgeous close-ups.

Xiaomi 13, on the other hand, has one optical zoom from 0.6x to 3.2x and a 75mm telephoto lens. Among other things, there is the master-lens system, a software function that offers a large focal length and depth of field to capture perfect portraits; and users can select two distinct photography styles – Leica Authentic Look and Leica Vibrant Look.

Thanks to Xiaomi Imaging Engine, the new devices have an improved photo capture speed and an excellent ability to automatically focus on certain moving subjects (Xiaomi ProFocus). Both smartphones also allow for manual parameter adjustment in Pro mode, while the 13 Pro supports 10-bit RAW DNG color and camera profiles created by Adobe.

Finally, on the video side, the two models allow users to “Create in Dolby Vision” with vivid colors, sharp contrast ratios and rich details; to capture 4K Ultra Night video; and to offer HyperOIS video stabilization to capture videos of exceptional quality.

The performance of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the power of Xiaomi Surge

Both Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which, compared to the previous generation, offers an improvement in GPU performance and energy efficiency of 42% and 49%, respectively. CPU performance and related energy efficiency have also been optimized by 37% and 47%, respectively. The devices also support the Wifi 7while Xiaomi 13 Pro owns the technology High Band Simultaneous (HBS) Multi-Link which enables multiple and simultaneous 5GHz and 6GHz connections, capable of realizing ultra-high speeds of up to 5.8Gbps, along with low latency and great network capacity. Xiaomi 13, on the other hand, features Dual Band Simultaneous (DBS) Multi-Link operation and is capable of realizing network speeds of up to 3.6Gbps.

Thanks to Xiaomi Surge – a chip dedicated to recharging – the two models guarantee greater longevity to the batteries 4,500mAh (Xiaomi 13) and 4,820mAh (13 Pros). The first model supports 67W wired turbo charging and 50W wireless turbo charging; Xiaomi 13 Pro, however, the 120W HyperCharge recharge, able to recharge to 100% in just 19 minutes.

Minimalist design and state-of-the-art display

Xiaomi 13 – available in colors Black, White and Flora Green – Adopts an elegant design that combines flat screen and edges with a 2.5D curved back design. In addition, it features an incredible 93.3% screen-to-body ratio and ultra-thin 1.61mm bezels. Equipped with a large 6.36 “AMOLED FHD + display, Xiaomi 13 guarantees the display of content with first-rate color accuracy and brightness thanks to the E6 AMOLED material in the face of low power consumption.

As for the 13 Pro, it features a 3D-curve ceramic body and comes in two colors: Ceramic White and Ceramic Black. The display is a 6.73″ WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED.
