AHMEDABAD: The Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) on Friday said that at the end of second round of admissions in postgraduate medical and dental courses including MD, MS, MDS and diploma a total of 458 seats have remained vacant.
The statement said that 400 of the total 1,538 seats for MD, MS and Diploma courses in the state have remained vacant while 58 seats of 206 MDS course seats are unoccupied at the end of second round. The statement said that for the remaining seats the students have confirmed their admissions by verifying their documents and paying their fees.
As per rules, 15% of all UG medical seats and 50% of seats in PG courses in the state are reserved for the all India quota students. The remaining seats are state quota seats which are further divided as government, management and NRI quota seats.
The statement said that after revised cutoff eligibility marks for NEET PG and NEET MDS the students who have registered online can verify their documents at designated help centers starting from November 5 and the last date will be November 9.
