Rumbleverse is a new battle royal game that pits players against players. Collect wrestling magazines, powder up, and build a champion.
Rumbleverse launches players into a world of pain and glory as they grapple up the leaderboard. Rumbleverse is entering the arena with other free-to-play Battle Royale-style games like Fortnite. The free game gives every wrestler an equal starting point each match, but how they finish is dependent on strategy and a bit of luck.
Unlike the growing cast of characters in MultiVersus, Rumbleverse allows the player to create their own wrestler. Players start out by customizing a champion that they will send into Grapital City. The leotards and hairdos give each character a unique look, but make no difference when it comes to fighting. Rumbleverse contains solo, duo, and playground explore mode options. It’s best to start out with a tag team partner in duo mode to get acclimated together.
Finding the best place to land in Rumbleverse is the best way to get an early advantage. Scope out areas with gold boxes, but not too many, as high box areas can become a royal rumble quite quickly. Break a golden box and quickly pick up whatever comes out. This will provide Champions with a few different options depending on what loot is dropped.
Essential Tips To Scoring a Win in Rumbleverse
Pick Up, Equip, & Powder Up
Powders increase a Champion’s strength (red), health (green), and stamina (yellow). Characters can handle 10 powders a game, and once one is used, it stays in their system until the game ends. A good formula to start is 4 red, 4 green, and 2 yellow. There are plenty of stamina/mega stamina drinks that quickly recharge the player to supplement stamina loss. Chicken is for health, and should be stored away for later if the health bar is full. Learning how to Meditate in Rumbleverse can also give the player a leg up since this perk can heal a Champion quickly during downtime.
Magazines are another useful item to look out for as they teach the fighters special moves, giving them a big advantage in combat. There are common (green), rare (blue), and epic (purple) magazines, these can be found randomly in loot crates and on the bodies of fallen foes.
Know When to Fight & When to Run
When a wrestler is powdered up, knows some good moves, and has some items stashed away it’s time to hunt others down for some knockouts. Dealing damage to others in Rumbleverse will increase the perk meter, and when it fills up the player gets a random boost that lasts until the end of the match.
Superstar Mode
The blue stars that can be collected throughout the Rumbleverse maps build up Superstar Mode. Superstar Mode puts the spotlight on the fighter and allows them to unleash a powerful move. The other perk of Superstar mode is that health starts regenerating and speed increases. When the spotlight is on, other players tend to stay away so they don’t become a victim of a finishing move.
