Siesta Key star Amanda Miller sees nothing wrong with being close with Juliette Porter’s ex as she defends sleeping at Sam Logan’s house.
Siesta Key star Amanda Miller doesn’t think she did anything wrong when she spent the night at Juliette Porter’s ex-boyfriend’s house. Juliette and Sam Logan had a tumultuous breakup last season, and though they’ve both moved on, they’re far from friends. However, some of Juliette’s friends, including Amanda, have stayed in contact with Sam. In a recent episode, Chloe Long realized Amanda was wearing Sam’s t-shirt. Amanda was forced to admit she spent the night at Sam’s, which Chloe disapproved of. When Juliette found out, she was equally as displeased, and the situation leads to a huge fight in next week’s episode.
However, Amanda doesn’t see anything wrong with her spending the night at Sam’s house and claims nothing romantic went on between them. Amanda took her frustration to Twitter, where she wrote, “Damned if you do, damned if you don’t! All I did was stay at my friends house in the guest room instead of getting in an Uber alone, intoxicated, & in the middle of the night in Miami. Y’all are tripping if you think I’d ever do anything else.” Amanda’s tweet seems to be aimed at her costars but also at fans who have questioned Amanda’s loyalty to her friends for a while. Unfortunately, her tweet wasn’t met with much support as many fans used her past behavior as a reason Juliette and Chloe were suspicious.
Siesta Key Fans Think Juliette & Chloe Are Right To Not Trust Amanda
Amanda has admitted to hooking up with her friend’s exes in the past. In response to her tweet, Siesta Key fans pointed out that she hooked up with Juliette’s ex Alex Kompothecras as well. However, Amanda claims she only hooked up with her friend’s exes before they dated, and it’s not her fault if her friends decide to start relationships with people she’s hooked up with in the past. She also pointed out the double standard of how women are treated in hookup culture versus how men are treated. Luckily some Siesta Key fans had her back and didn’t think she was in the wrong.
The truth is, Siesta Key doesn’t always give an honest representation of situations. What fans see is that Amanda was wearing Sam’s shirt and admitted to sleeping at his house. There’s a good chance there may have been aspects of the story that were left out that made Chloe and Juliette even more upset and suspicious. However, even if there weren’t, the Siesta Key stars have the right to be irritated with Amanda. She watched Juliette cry over Sam and deal with him moving on with Meghan Bischoff quickly after. Her behavior seems like the ultimate betrayal.
On the other hand, Kelsey Owens and Madisson Hausburg also remain friends with Sam. Jordana knows firsthand how many people party at Sam’s house all night long and end up staying over. It may have been disrespectful for Amanda to be walking around the next morning in Sam’s t-shirt, but that doesn’t mean she crossed any lines with him. It’s hard to say who’s right and who’s wrong since both sides of the argument make valid points. However, it’s probably best that the Siesta Key star spends less time at her best friend’s ex-boyfriend’s house.
