Edited, Honda’s premium brand, is preparing to unveil an important novelty. On August 18 at Monterey Car Week, the automaker will present its Precision EV Concept. So, it’s a concept that will showcase the design language we’ll see on Acura’s future electric cars.
The car manufacturer did not want to anticipate anything particular about the concept and limited itself to sharing a brief video teaser which allows you to observe the front of the car for a few moments. We can, therefore, note the blue illuminated grid car with the Acura logo in the center illuminated in turn. In addition, we can see the subtle design of the headlights and the shapes of the front bumper. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to find out all the details of the electric concept car.

This isn’t the first time Acura has revealed a concept under the name Precision. The first Precision concept was unveiled in 2016 and debuted the design language of current Acura cars. The Precision EV concept appears to have the forms of an SUV. A choice that is not surprising given that we have known for some time that Acura, around 2024, will debut an electric SUV that will be closely related to the Honda Prologue, of which some first images have recently been released.
It is therefore possible that this new concept also anticipates Acura’s future electric SUV. It is a model of which today we only know that it will be based on General Motors Ultium platform. Honda, in fact, had entered into an agreement with the American car manufacturer to be able to use its platform for two electric models to be sold in North America, one of which, in fact, with the Acura brand.
All that remains is to wait a few more days to discover all the secrets of Acura’s electric concept.
