What you see in the article are the first (alleged) photos of the AMD Radeon RX 7900, the next generation flagship card whose debut is now imminent (see you on Thursday!). It seems quite clear that these are prototypes: the PCB is red, the backplate is missing and there are points prepared for the connection of external instruments and sensors. However, they are very credible leaks – especially if you notice the red accented stripe on the heatsink, just as AMD itself had anticipated in this summer’s teasers.

The board is a bit longer but uses the same configuration of auxiliary connectors, namely 2×8 pins. From here it is it is impossible to determine if it is the XT variant or the XTX variant, widely expected after the 6000 series version was canceled. The three fans mounted in the heatsink seem identical in terms of shape (curves and number of blades) and dimensions, while the design of the central part changes.

The source does not add technical details to the images; it merely says that they come from a closed group of the Chinese messaging platform QQ. However, we can summarize the alleged technical specifications that have emerged so far:
