HONOR continues to work hard to launch new products, including HONOR Pad V8 Prothe last one Tablet of the company (for now placed only on the Chinese market). The device, among its specifications, includes a 12.1″ (2.5K) LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate (with IMAX Enhanced certification). As for the processor, however, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 with 12 GB of RAM. There are also 8 speakers, while on the design side the tablet has a thickness of 6.4 mm.
Moreover, the tablet supports Magic Pencil 3, with a 4096 pressure sensitivity and 2ms short time extension. Among other things, the pencil charges magnetically when placed on top of the device and would guarantee 10 hours of battery life. There is also support for a Smart Touch keyboard dock with 1.6mm deep travel and 15.9mm large keys: A PC-level typing experience would be guaranteed. On the battery side, however, the Pad V8 Pro is equipped with a unit from 10,050mAh with support for 35W fast charging.
Finally, the software is based on the latter MagicOS 7, capable of offering intelligent connectivity, smart services, smooth performance, privacy and security.
Prices and availability
HONOR Pad V8 Pro is available in colors Orange, Sunny blue, Starry blueee is priced at CNY 2599 ($373) for 8GB+128GB model, CNY 2899 ($416) for 8GB + 256GB model e CNY 3299 ($473) for the 12GB + 256GB model.
HONOR Magic Pencil 3, on the other hand, will be sold at CNY 499 ($71) while the smart touch keyboard will be sold at CNY549 ($79). Pre-order for the Pad V8 Pro and its accessories has already started, and it will go on sale from December 30th.
