The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) on Monday announced that a special offline admission round for admissions in ayurveda and homeopathy courses will be conducted from February 8-10.
A statement from the committee said that the admission round is only meant for the students who have given their consent during admission rounds conducted earlier.
At the end of the fourth admission round of ayurveda and homeopathy courses, 1,060 of the total 1,353 seats had remained unoccupied. The fourth round of admissions had begun on January 21 and ended on January 25.
As per committee data, a total of 364 BAMS seats and 696 BHMS seats remained vacant. All the vacant seats were in the general category.
