said it has secured a multibillion-dollar aircraft order from Australian carrier Qantas Airways

The aerospace giant said Qantas has selected its 787 Dreamliner aircraft line to renew its fleet and selected four aircrafts from the 787-9 model and eight from the 787-10 model.

The new order, part of Qantas’s major fleet renewal program, aims to significantly increase the carrier’s fuel efficiency as it looks to open new routes and add more flights to its network.
