Good news is coming for owners of OnePlus’ mid-range, the Nord CE 2 Lite. In fact, the company is proceeding with the release of the update OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13. This is good news, also because until now the company had particularly focused on updates for the top of the range, pending the launch of the new OnePlus 11.
The package – to be precise the build C.25 – has a total weight of about 4.5 GB and, in addition to OxygenOS 13 and Android 13, contains the December 2022 security patch. As for the affected countries, so far the update has reached users in India, but in these weeks it should involve the rest of the world. The news, however, as already seen in the past, are many and all quite interesting. Among these, the introduction of theAquamorphic Designinspired by water and containing minimal icons, fluid animations and, finally, able to guarantee better performances than in the past.
Among the changes, among other things, there is one revisiting the “Always-on” mode: now, in fact, it is possible to select multiple screens. Furthermore, thanks to this update, users will be able to count on unprecedented features such as “Sidebar Toolbox” and “Smart Launcher”. In short, it is an update that aims to give the smartphone new life. And speaking of updates, for the Nord CE 2 Lite it is the first major update: the smartphone, in fact, was launched this year with on board Android 12 (flanked, of course, by the OxygenOS 12).
