deep sidhu: Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu, accused in Red Fort violence case, dies in road accident | Chandigarh News

SONIPAT: Punjabi actor turned farmer activist Deep Sidhu died in a road accident near Sonipat in Haryana, confirmed police.
The vehicle he was travelling in rammed into a stationary truck on Kundli-Manesar-Palwal highway. His body has been kept at a government hospital in Sonipat.

“He died in the accident and a woman accompanying Sidhu was admitted to a hospital where her condition was stated out of danger,” Kharkhoda police station inspector Jaspal Singh told PTI.
Sidhu had also been involved in a Republic Day violence case in 2021.
He had been arrested in a case relating to violence in Red Fort during the farmers’ tractor rally on January 26. He had been in custody for about 70 days.
