Last year, Samsung released the Expert RAW app, which allows full manual controls for the camera, capture multi-frame HDRthe histogram and format support 16-bit Linear DNG RAW And Lossless JPG (without data loss).
The app, initially only available for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, continued to receive constant updates which have improved the functions and above all widened the compatibility (to the top of Samsung) and now it has finally arrived on the new one Galaxy Z Fold 4 (here you find our review).

The new version of Expert RAW, v2.0.00.3it is now indeed compatible with the new folding of Samsung, but not only. Among the novelties of the latest update we also have improvements for photography in low light conditions and the ability to save presets (preset) customized.
As regards the low light photosit is not the first time that Samsung has put a hand to it, so let’s hope that now we have arrived at one solution. The second point, on the other hand, represents a Announcements and it had already been anticipated from the company in July. THE custom presets I am settings of the camera used most frequently and save time as there is no need to dig through the many possibilities every time.
As can be seen from the changelog of the latest version of Expert RAW (image above), a function is missing promise in July: the new menu for save photos in different formats. This menu should in fact allow users to access three new save optionsbut it will likely come with a next update.
You can download Expert RAW to your Samsung smartphone compatible (here you will find the list of devices in addition to Galaxy Z Fold 4) from Galaxy Store or, if you don’t see the update yet, from APKMirror.
