GeForce NOW is NVIDIA’s streaming gaming service that allows users to play their own PC titles, available on stores such as Steam or Epic Games Store, streaming and on any device. The service, constantly updated both in terms of supported titles and features, is receiving one in these days new important feature on Android smartphones.
Finally comes the chance to play at 120 fps on all smartphones that have a high refresh rate display (obviously from 120 Hz up): up to now, in fact, this possibility was limited only to some smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 and finally OnePlus 9 Pro (the latest update of this list of devices dates back to May of this ‘year).
Despite this, the ability to play at 120 fps remains available only and exclusively for users with GeForce NOW RTX 3080 subscription. This type of subscription also allows you to play in 4K at 60 FPS on PC and Macalso taking advantage of the NVIDIA’s DLSS technology.
As anticipated, GeForce NOW allows you to stream your games available on third-party stores on any device. There are three subscriptions available (GeForce NOW Free, GeForce NOW Priority at € 9.99 per month and GeForce NOW RTX 3080 at € 19.99 per month), which obviously offer several advantages. We talked about it in detail here.
Recently, with the service it is possible to play Fortnite on all devices (therefore also iPhone and iPad) in streaming: here you can find the article related to our test, in which we talk about the different aspects, positive and negative, of cloud gaming today.
