In the last few hours Google has provided some clarifications involving Android Auto and a bugs precise that it occurred with voice calls.
This is an annoying bug involving the call handling when the smartphone is connected to the car via Android Auto. The bug in fact causes the transmission of the sound in call not from the car audio speakers but from smartphone speakers.
The problem seems to only affect audio related to calls, and not that relating to multimedia content for example. Google made that clear the update to Android 13 for the Pixels, which has been released for a few months now, it should have Resolved definitely the inconvenience.
For other Android smartphone models it will be instead necessarymost likely, a Android Auto update which hasn’t been mentioned by Google yet.
At the same time, Google reportedly is working on figuring out how to fix some spontaneous disconnection problems occurring with Android Auto for owners of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Also in this case we expect an update that solves the problem for the next few weeks.
