Every time the updates of Google system include various improvements to the Play Store. For example, the latest update introduces an important new feature: the ability to reinstall applications on ours smartphone without going through the setup process all the time.

This feature, introduced by Google in March, allows users to uninstall applications but with one important difference from the past: the Play Store, in fact, keeps the local data of the software. In practice, it will be as if the app had never been removed from the device (we speak of “archiving”). This is an important step forward: we think of gamers or owners of phones with limited storage capacity. This update is available with version 33.4 of the Google Play Store.

So, Google continues to enrich the user experience with the Play Store which, by the way, in 2023 should finally be more suitable for those who use it with a tablet. In fact, recent rumors have revealed that the Mountain View giant would be willing to redesign the app in such a way as to be more functional on large screens.

Among the news, a total overhaul of the “Games” section, which should also include app descriptions and screenshots viewable on the home screen. Finally, the company also announced that developers will be able to add up to eight screenshots in 16:9 format on the Play Store for Chromebooks.
