Google Workspace is Big G’s answer to Office 365: a well-integrated suite of applications that include everything you need to run a business. E-mail, productivity applications (such as text editors and spreadsheets), video conferencing solutions (Meet, specifically). All apps that in some way are also accessible to common Google users, anyone with a Gmail account to be clear, but which do not enjoy the same level of integration and carry some limitations, starting with the time limits for video calls.
Identical to Google Workspace, Google Workspace Individual it is dedicated instead to individual business users: freelancers, retailers, consultants. Its main flaw? It wasn’t available to European users, but things have changed now and those living in France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and the UK can also take out a subscription.
New features introduced in Google Workspace Individual
Google Workplace is nothing more than an enhanced G Suite, with a greater amount of cloud space available to users, the possibility of using a custom email domain (such as @ lamiaimpresa.it) and greater integration between the various apps. The same can be said for the Individual version, in effect identical but intended not for companies with multiple employees but for companies managed by a single person.
One year after the debut of Google Workplace Individual, Google has finally decided to make it available to European users, including Italians. Not only that: the multinational has also recently introduced a series of new features. These include the ability to stream meetings held with Google Meet on Youtube, the ability to manage e-mail marketing campaigns and newsletters (multi-send), up to a maximum of 1,500 recipients for each individual e-mail and an improved tool for managing appointments via Google Calendar.
