There are 160 Altars of Lilith in Diablo 4, each of which provides something valuable to the players that can be carried over to new characters.
In Diablo 4, there are several unique items players will interact with, one of which is the Altar of Lilith. These Altars will be found in several locations across the map, as there are 160 of them in total for players to track down. Players should encounter their first of the Altars of Lilith within their first hour of gameplay.
These Altars of Lilith in Diablo 4 range from being so easy to find that players will encounter them through normal gameplay to being so hidden that they have to be intentionally sought out. However, they are very recognizable once spotted, as they resemble the primary antagonist, Lilith.
What Are Altars Of Lilith For?
These statues showcasing the glorious villain Lilith are more than just a collectible. Each newly discovered one provides a special feature. Upon being interacted with, they can provide Renown in Diablo 4, give a permanent stat boost to all cooperating players, or supply Paragon points. With 160 of them to be tracked down, that is quite a bit of benefit to be obtained. There are going to be roughly 30 of them in a given area which means players can focus on one section first before moving on to locate the others should they choose to collect them all, if not, try grabbing them on a second playthrough.
There is no trick to tracking down the Altars of Lilith other than the pure exploration of the map. The red glow will be the most crucial feature as, due to the haziness, they can sometimes be hard to spot otherwise. So keep an eye out for that because it is the best indicator that an Altar of Lilith has been found.
How To Find Altars Of Lilith
Luckily for players, aside from the Altars of Lilith’s glowing red aura, they’re also pretty noticeable due to their size as well. With the tall stature of the statue and Lilith’s wingspan, they can be pretty hard to miss. Specifically breaking down each area of the map, there will be 28 in the Fractured Peaks, 34 in Scosglen, 33 in the Dry Steppes, 34 in Hawezar, and 31 in Kehjistan. Remember that Altars of Lilith stat boosts will apply to any further created characters in Diablo 4, so tracking down the Altars again on the second go-around isn’t necessary unless players are interested in obtaining more Renown.
