In the last few hours they have emerged important news for Huawei Pay and payments supported by its platform. The Chinese company has in fact officially announced that Huawei Pay officially supports in Italy all payments that take place on the circuit PagoBANCOMAT.

The novelty arrives in Italy thanks to the partnership between Intesa Sanpaolo And BANCOMAT SpAand is part of the strategy launched by the new industrial plan of the company which aims to achieve, by 2027, 3.3 billion transactions thanks also to the creation of new technological assets and new initiatives aimed at increasing the digital offer.

This way all Huawei smartphones will be compatible with digital payments through the PagoBANCOMAT circuit, and also with payments via POS by means of the support NFC. PagoBANCOMAT cards can be added directly from the app Huawei Pay.

Clearly all payments made via Huawei Pay require authentication of the user, through biometric recognition or by entering a PIN. In short, Huawei Pay offers the same type of security protocols that we find on other digital payment platforms, such as the newborn Google Wallet for example.
