Indiana Jones, Disney + is thinking about a series on the saga

Disney + is actively building one tv series starting from Indiana Jones. The Lucasfilm saga could in fact undergo the serial treatment that will be based on the figure ofadventurous globetrotting archaeologist. It is not yet clear which would be narrative cue – whether it will be a prequel or a reboot – also because for now we have yet to identify the writers and no details on the plot have been leaked. For the same reason it is unclear how this episodic production could connect with Indiana Jones 5the new cinematic chapter of the franchise that will debut in June 2023 and in turn kept under the strictest secrecy.

What we do know about the fifth film, however, is that it will definitely be the last one he will see as the protagonist Harrison Ford: the eighty-year-old actor has been the protagonist of this film series since 1981, interpreting all of them four films (Raiders of the Lost Ark, The cursed temple, The last crusade And The kingdom of the crystal skulls), but has declared that he will hang the legendary whip on a nail. Although Ford made a cameo in one episode, the series focused on Indiana Jones’ youth, played at different stages in his life by Sean Patrick Flanery And Corey Carrierwith George Hall who, in the part of Indiana as an elder, connected the various episodes with his own memories of the past.
