Why is it that many veterans who served honorably are cold and homeless, yet despicable ones like U.S. Army Col. Brian Connelly, who dishonored his nation and the soldiers under his command by posting photos of himself in a fetish dog mask while in uniform, are allowed to retire?
Connelly joins a non-prestigious group of fake veteran leadership, which includes the likes of the Vindman brothers, China’s Gen. Mark Milley and almost-former Rep. Adam Kinzinger. Fortunately, this group will fade into the annals of the forgotten and disgraced. Never will they be honored like the real heroes who sacrificed for this nation.
Connelly’s retirement should be put off until he apologizes, at least to the soldiers under his so-called command.
