Microsoft and Nexi together to accelerate the digital transformation of companies and Public Administration

Microsoft and Nexi have joined forces with the aim of accelerating the transition to digital of companies and public administration. At the heart of the agreement is the Azure cloud: the Redmond giant has been chosen as Nexi’s preferred cloud provider. For its part, Microsoft has selected Nexi as one of the leading digital payments provider for e-commerce in Italy, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The two multinationals will collaborate to incorporate Nexi payment solutions into Microsoft Cloud services and solutions.

The cloud at the center of the agreement between Nexi and Microsoft

Under the agreement, Nexi will rely on Azure cloud services for its platforms and the two companies will collaborate on developing joint solutions to create new products and services to market. The objective of the two companies is to launch a joint proposal towards ISVs, software companies and startups, focusing in a first phase on Italian market to then extend the offer over time to other European markets. The partnership also extends to marketing and communication initiatives, with the two companies jointly carrying out partner “evangelization” and developer training activities.
