It’s time for updates for OnePlus, especially OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T and 7T Pro, all still awaiting the official release of Android 12, although the launch of Android 13 is getting closer and closer. In detail, after the release of the first Open Beta of OxygenOS12 based on Android 12 at the beginning of July, the company has just released the second beta.

The second beta – version H.26 for the OnePlus 7 series and version F.15 for the 7 T series – does not, however, introduce the new August security patches (they are still in July). As for the update methods, if you have already installed the OxygenOS 12 OB1 on your device, you should receive the OTA update notification. If not, you could proceed to the manual download of OTA packages.

The OxygenOS 12, based on Android 12, introduces several new features, especially in relation to the graphic interface, made more similar to the ColorOS by OPPO. Furthermore, they have been added new features for Always On options, for the game mode and for the Shelf, now equipped with new cards and customizations. Finally, they should not be missing too various measures to optimize battery life.
