KYIV, Ukraine — President Volodymyr Zelensky and top military and intelligence officials have discussed ways to “prevent the leakage of information regarding the plans of the defense forces of Ukraine,” a government statement said, without giving further details. It comes shortly after the unauthorized release of classified Pentagon documents that appear to detail Ukraine’s combat capabilities and Western support.
The U.S. Justice Department opened an investigation into the leak, after senior U.S. officials realized the scope was more expansive than initially thought.
